Soroban Systems Inc. ("Sorobas", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use and protect personal information through this website, www.sorobas.com, including our beta sign-up and demo request forms. We follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).
This policy covers this website only. Client and firm data processed in the Sorobas platform is governed by the agreements we sign with participating firms.
Information we collect
- Information you give us: your name, email address, firm name, role, province or territory, number of staff, approximate number of clients, the software you use today, and any message you send through our forms or by email.
- Information collected automatically: technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device, pages visited and referring site, collected through cookies and similar tools used by our website host to run the site and measure traffic.
How we use it
- To respond to your inquiry, arrange a demo and prepare a quote for your firm.
- To assess your firm's application to the beta program.
- To send you product updates you asked to receive.
- To operate, secure and improve this website.
- To meet our legal obligations.
We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not use it for purposes other than those described here without your consent.

This website and its forms are hosted by Squarespace, which may store and process information outside Canada, including in the United States. Information stored outside Canada may be accessible to courts and authorities under the laws of that country. This applies to the website only: the Sorobas platform hosts client data and runs its AI models in Canada.
How long we keep it
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above, or as required by law, and then delete or anonymize it. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
How we protect it
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect personal information against loss, theft and unauthorized access, use or disclosure. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.

You may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent. We will respond within the time required by law.
